Question: What is MPSC Training?
Answer: Mobile Phone Seizure Certification is a best practice review of how to seize and preserve cell phones
and the evidence they contain. This training will cover where evidence may be found on the phone, how to
preserve that evidence, as well as how to properly transport and package cell phones for examinations.
The instruction, which is not product specific, is geared toward law enforcement ,first responders and security
professionals at any level. Those who take the course will have the opportunity to take a written examination at
the end of the class and those who pass the exam will receive the certification.

Answer: Those who take the course will have the opportunity to take a written examination at the end of the class
or online, upon successfully passing this exam the MPSC certification will be issued. Certifications are
individually numbered to identify each qualified individual.

Answer: Based on interviews of investigators during the deployment of cell phone forensic training it was
determined that mobile communication devices required a septate collection protocol from computers. Created
by BKForensics, this non vendor specific training provides a solid baseline outlining the collection,
documentation and preservation of mobile communication evidence. Special thanks to Pam King (former FBI
Computer Analysis and Response Team (CART) examiner, ASCLD certified) and Dr. D'Ovidio, assistant professor
in Drexel University's Criminal Justice Program for their contributions in the development of this training and
certification.

Answer: Yes. BKForensics continually seeks the input of law enforcement, investigators, prosecutors and
academic professional to assure that the MPSC contains the most receipt information. The current version, 3.12
is no available for download.

Answer: Yes. Upon attending and successfully passing the MPSC examination you are eligible to be trained as
an authorized MPSC trainer. BKForensics has created a "Train the Trainer" program that allows qualified
